Public parks are an important asset of the tri-state area. Handicapped-accessible playground equipment is vital to the enjoyment of those parks by all citizens, and Dubuque Racing Association grants such as those made to the Dubuque County Conservation Board to provide this equipment has greatly enhanced the recreational facilities in our area.

The tri-state area is also justifiably proud of the vast array of local arts and entertainment activities. Museums, art exhibits, theatre productions, and historical sites are just a few of the examples of cultural opportunities available right here at home. Funding for the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra’s Arts Trek educational program, sponsorship of performances and theater restoration at the Grand Opera House, and contributions to the Dubuque County Fine Arts Society to promote annual Dubuquefest/Very Special Arts events are just some of the ways the Dubuque Racing Association has helped to enrich our cultural advantages.

Dubuque and its neighboring communities have traditionally preserved and promoted the finer points of living here while continuing to look toward the future. And the Dubuque Racing Association is proud to be a part of helping to shape that future.
