| GUIDELINES FOR SPONSORSHIP
AND DONATION REQUESTS |

All donation and sponsorship decisions
will be made on an individual basis. |

The event must benefit
the community to be considered for sponsorship. |
| • |
The Dubuque Racing Association will
consider sponsoring the following kinds of events: |

• |
Community-wide events |
| |
• |
Awareness or fundraising events for nonprofits |
| • |
The DRA may not sponsor the following kinds of
events: |
| |
• |
Personal benefit fundraisers |
| |
• |
Requests made on behalf of an individual |
| |
• |
For-profit business events, including
holiday parties and campaigns |
| |
• |
Fundraising events that will take
place outside of the tri-state area |
| • |
Requests MUST be received on letterhead and should
include a contact name, phone number, purpose of the event, and
when and where it will be held. |

Requests must be received 30 days prior to the
event to be considered for funding. |

Organizations are allowed only one request per year. An application
in the DRA Grant Award Program is not considered a sponsorship request.
