 
Dubuque Greyhound Park & Casino’s Adoption program has placed nearly 2,000 retired racers in loving caring homes over the past 18 years. Greyhounds are extremely loyal and very affectionate pets and have been placed in a variety of settings from families with children to nursing homes where the elderly can enjoy the warm nature of the breed.
All greyhounds adopted from Dubuque Greyhound Park & Casino receive the necessary veterinary services before being released as pets. This includes spaying or neutering and all the necessary shots. A small fee is charged at the time of adoption which covers the costs of these services. |

Prospective families should complete and submit an application. The application will be screened and an interview scheduled with an Adoption Program Representative who will introduce families to adoptable greyhounds. Adoptive families will receive a customized “owners manual”.
